STAGS aims to offer a choice of nutritious meals to students at lunchtime, and a range of healthy snacks during breaks. At break and lunchtime, hot food is available from the Canteen, the 'Snack Shack' in the courtyard, and in the sixth-form common room for 6th formers. Food is also available at vending machines around the school which stock healthy drinks and snacks including packets of mixed fruits and cereal bars.

A meal at lunchtime in the canteen typically costs £2, and drinks range from 75p - £1.00.

Free drinking water is always available from water coolers placed around the school, and girls are encouraged to bring in refillable water bottles.
